You know what I’m on about. Freedom from those diets that stoke you full of hope and promise, dreaming about your new bikini body and what do you get? A few weeks of healthy eating and some weight loss then… Boom! You’re back to the beginning again…Just one little treat won’t hurt will it.
But it does, and the reason it does is because the diet you were on ‘forgot’ to help you with your deep rooted, long standing habits and patterns around food. They just shouted the same old advice at you, like every diet does, of ‘eat less and exercise more’ Sure, they all dress themselves up as being different but essentially every one of them will push the idea that you restrict yourself severely and exercise like your life depends on it in order to achieve the perfect body you crave.
You see, our minds and bodies are super clever. They naturally know how to achieve and maintain the perfect weight for you. Sadly, we have buried their natural abilities under piles of diets and meal planners!
